PIECAL's 334 loop calibrator is compatible with recorders, digital indicators, stroke valves, or any instrument with a 4-20 mA input. The calibrator can be used at any access point in a 4-20 milliamp DC loop, and replaces a two-wire transmitter to check loop wiring and receiver.

While measuring the output of loop devices, the 334 can simultaneously output 24 VDC to power the devices in a process loop by using its internal batteries and internal switching power supply. The PIECAL 334 is comparable to Altek's model 334 and 334A calibrators.

 

• Measures loop current signals from 0 to 52 mA (-25 to 300%)
• Can measure from -99.99 to 99.99 VDC with 0.01V resolution
• Works with all your current signal instruments in a 4 to 20 milliamp DC loop
• Always on backlight so it's easily seen in dark areas of the plant
• Features preset 4 mA (0%) and 20 mA (100%)  EZ-CHECK™ settings, or use the adjustable digital potentiometer DIAL to save any value within 0.01 mA
