Like the PIECAL 334, the 334Plus calibrates signal instruments in a 4 to 20 milliamp DC loop. It can be used at any access point in the loop, and can simultaneously power your two-wire transmitter and measure its output thanks to its internal batteries and internal switching power supply.

The 334Plus features ground current leak detection which locates faulty wiring, flooded conduit, and corrosion bridges for troubleshooting. When powering up your loop, the 334Plus will indicate leakage by pinpointing any current that isn't controlled by the transmitter or other current control element. The PIECAL 334Plus is comparable to Altek's 334 and 334A models.
