Siemens SITRANS LR560 loop-powered radar level transmitter is ideal for continuous monitoring of solids in silos to a range of 328 feet. This compact stainless steel unit is ideal for most solids measurement applications, even those with extreme dust or temperatures to 392°F.

The transmitter emits a narrow 4° beam that avoids silo wall obstructions and other installation interferences, so it can be installed almost anywhere on top of the silo. LR560's high frequency operation makes aiming unnecessary, but an optional aiming flange helps direct the beam to any area of interest, like the discharge area of the silo cone.

SITRANS LR560 models are available with HART®, PROFIBUS PA, or Foundation™ Fieldbus protocols. They can be programmed through local pushbuttons on the display interface, by using an infrared handheld programmer, or remote configruation and diagnostics via the communications protocols.
