Stop carrying around millivolt sources and thermocouple tables! By connecting the PIECAL 422 to a miniature thermocouple connector, you can measure and calibrate your probe directly in °C or °F. The PIECAL 422 is compatible with smart transmitters, PLCs, DCS and multichannel recorders.

PIECAL's 422 can help troubleshoot sensor connections and find broken wires or corroded connections. The 422 thermocouple calibrator is comparable to Altek's model 422.

 

• For thermocouple types J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, G, C,D l (J-DIN), U (T-DIN) and P (Platinel II)
• Calibrate from -13 to 80.000 mV
• Store any three temperatures for instant recall with the EZ-CHECK™ switch
• Choose between 2, 3, 5, 11, and 21 steps to automatically increment output in 100%, 50%, 25%, 10%, or 5% of span
• Select step time from 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 60 seconds
• Secondary display shows the temperature's mV value plus the cold junction temperature
